Skin Prep for Applying Sticky Bras for Maximum Lift and Hold

PREPARATION FOR PLACEMENT:

1. Start with clean, dry skin that is void of any residue. Silicone will not perform to its highest standard of use if there is oil, lotion, powder, or dirt on the breast. These elements degrade all silicone adhesive bras and nipple covers because they gum up the adhesive. So, it is imperative that you have no oils, lotions, make-up, or powder on the skin before application of the Breast Shapers.  This might seem like common sense, but what some people don’t know is that MOST body washes and bar soaps and especially hair conditioners used in the shower list oil as one of their top ingredients. 
2. Check your soap!! Some very common soaps and shower gels that have oil and/or lotion in them are Oil of Olay, Caress, Dove, CeraVe and Eucerin to name only a few. Soap is so drying to the skin, that is it very common to add a moisturizing ingredient, but some brands have a higher level than others. Unfortunately, these oils and lotions that make your skin feel so soft are the same ones that will make your sticky bra lose its stickiness.
3. Wash your hands!! Always make sure your hands are clean before handling the breast shaper or any adhesive product. Body oil, hair gels and conditioners, powder, hand lotion and especially make-up are easily deposited on the adhesive by touching the shapers with any of these on your hands. 
4. Apply rubbing alcohol. Celebrity stylists use this trick whenever using adhesives on the body.  Apply a small amount of common rubbing oil to a cotton ball and apply on the breast but not on the areola/nipple area.  This will decimate any oils that may lingering on the skin.
